Hypnosis is a fantastic state of awareness where undeniable changes can be
made in the way a person thinks. Hypnosis is a completely natural, the person is in complete
relaxation and when they are in this state there unconscious and conscious mind find it much
easier to communicate thus allowing positive change. What does hypnosis feel like? Everyone responds to hypnosis differently there is no right or wrong way to experience it. Some describe their experience as an altered state of consciousness. Others describe hypnosis as a normal state of focused attention, in which they feel very calm and relaxed. Regardless of how and to what degree they respond, most people describe the experience as very pleasant. What can hypnosis be used for? Hypnosis can be used for most things to name but a few; it could be used to quit unwanted habits, fears/phobias, negative emotions, sports improvement and much much more. Who can be hypnotized? Everyone, some people are very responsive to hypnotic suggestions, and others are less responsive. How long do the results of the session last? When you go into a hypnosis session and get the results you want, providing you really want those results, they will be with you for life. How long has hypnosis been around? Evidence of hypnotic like phenomena appears in many ancient cultures. Records suggest the Egyptians used hypnosis. Some say there is evidence of hypnosis before that. The modern history begins in the 1700s, when a French physician Anton Mesmer revived an interest in hypnosis. There really is no way to know when it was first used. Does the practice of hypnosis conflict with religion? Most cases no it does not, however it is always best to check with someone who is the same religion as you and confirm that using hypnosis is in line with your religion. Can a person in hypnosis be controlled? No way! It only appears that way in stage hypnosis. A stage hypnotist will be very picky with the people he or she picks. The reason for this is that a good stage hypnotist will always pick the ones that are happy to get up on stage and want to have a laugh. REMEMBER it is impossible to hypnotise any one to do anything they don’t want to do! If the hypnotherapist were to give you suggestions that you didn't agree with or were morally against your beliefs, you would either refuse them or you would stand right up and walk out of that session. You must also understand that when hypnotized, you do not black out. You actually hear and see everything very clearly. Thank you for taking the time to read this site and the information held here.
